So Thankful

We are such a blessed family and have so much to be thankful for!  Our sweet Jacob is now saying the blessing and reminds us every evening of our many gifts.  He thanks God for our immediate family, his grandparents and uncle, our home, our woods :) , our food, and for various other things depending on the day.  It is one of our most precious times of the day!

We are thankful for....a wonderful preschool!  The kids' preschool had a Thanksgiving feast for the older kids and their parents.  It was such a nice event and Jacob loved having us at his school!  Here he is with the pumpkin he made at school.

We are thankful for.....a completed playset!  My parents bought us this fabulous playset back in the summer but other projects had taken precedence.  Jimmy spent four weekends preparing the ground and assembling the playset and it was all ready to play on the weekend before Thanksgiving.  The kids LOVE it!

We are thankful for...GrandDad (and his outdoor work skills)! The guys worked hard raking the yard and trimming back bushes in the woods.  Jacob had so much fun!
I love these sweet pictures!

We had no idea GrandDad was such a good horse!
Sweet Anna being silly

We are thankful for....spending time with our fabulous family!  Thanksgiving was an all day event at our house with a big breakfast, fun playtime, and a turkey dinner.  Here Jacob is enjoying boula, a traditional Swedish danish my family has enjoyed for generations.  Yummy!
Jacob was excited to be seated between Gramps and GrandDad!
We are thankful for.....a wonderful yard!  After breakfast everyone had fun enjoying the beautiful weather.  My dad took the kids into the woods and I can honestly say this is the first time I have ever seen my dad in woods. :)

Anna running with her hair blowing in the wind.  :) She looks like such a big girl!
The kids had a blast playing "baseball" with Uncle David.

Snuggle time with Gramps!
We are thankful for....yummy fried turkey!  Jimmy fried two turkeys (after making an emergency run to Wal-mart for more oil) and they were delicious!  After dinner Gramps and Jacob pulled out their favorite toy - Gramps' phone.
Anna loves sitting in Mommy's lap at mealtimes.  She is actually eating spinach with balsamic vinaigrette here!
We are thankful for....Uncle David's youthful spirit!  The kids love for Uncle David to spin them around.  Poor David is exhausted by the time he leaves family events.  :) Think Anna loves this game?!

Anna even coaxed Nana to spin her around!
Pie time!  Anna decided she actually just wanted the whipped cream.

We are thankful for....family fun not ending on Thanksgiving!  On Friday we headed to my parents' house for lasagna.  The kids love driving their vehicles around the house and getting more quality time with their grandparents.

 Sweet kisses for Nana!

We are so thankful for our family!
