Spring Break

I laugh as I type "Spring Break" as I hardly think Jacob needed a break from school which he attends 2 days for 4 hours at a time. :) We spent the week visiting with friends, going to the zoo, and getting ready for a weekend of Easter fun.

My college friend Kelly, who currently lives in Switzerland, was home to visit with her 4 month old baby boy, Jake. It was so wonderful to see her! In addition to our monthly girls dinner we planned a play date so we could get all the kids together. As always Allison was a fabulous hostess and her house was the perfect place for the kids to jump, slide, swing, run, ride, and play, play and play! We all had such a great time!

Unfortunately baby Jake (Kelly's) and baby Anne Harris (Paige's) didn't make this picture but here are the other kiddos.

After we came home the kids climbed up on our couch with books for some individual "reading" time.

The zoo is always a big hit. We went into the "aquarium" section for the first time and the kids LOVED it. Jacob's favorite exhibit was the bats and Anna seemed especially drawn to the fish. I almost had a panic attack when I saw the anaconda snake!

Jacob's School Easter Egg Hunter

Jacob had his school Easter egg hunt on Wednesday, March 28th. He was all smiles collecting his eggs!

Anna came along for the fun. I had my hands full trying to keep her from collecting eggs as well!These class pictures always make me laugh. They are so cute but they never seem to be looking at the camera and/or smiling!
