Visitors for Jacob!

We've had a fun week of visitors. On Friday, April 24 Jen, Tyler, and Mr. and Mrs. Fulghum came over to visit. Jen and Tyler were able to get in a little practice as they are expecting twin girls in September! They look like naturals to me! On Saturday, Laura and Matthew also came over to visit but somehow I managed to not get any pictures. :( I guess that will have to be our excuse to get together again soon!

Then on Tuesday, April 28th Andrea and Ainsley came over for a "play date". Here's a picture of Ainsley and Jacob.

Happy Birthday to me - I'm 30!

I have finally decided to start a blog and figured my 30th birthday is a great time to start. I'm excited about being 30 and all the wonderful times I have ahead of me. If you had asked me 10 years ago where I wanted to be when I was 30, I think I would have told you exactly where I am right now! I am so blessed to be married to Jimmy, be a mom to precious Jacob and have such a fantastic and supportive family and circle of friends!

On Friday, April 24th Mom, Dad and David came over to celebrate my birthday. Jimmy and Mom cooked a yummy meal of lump crabcakes, baked sweet potatoes, green beans, and caramel cheesecake. It was scrumptious! Here are some pictures from the evening.

Then, on my actual birthday (April 29) my parents surprised me with PF Chang's, champagne, cake, and ice cream!

Jacob isn't so sure how he feels about the attention going to Mommy and not him.

Papa reassures him that the attention favoring Mommy will be very temporary. Yay!
