Fun Around the House

Our lives have been fairly uneventful lately although certainly fun. Here are a few "everyday" pictures I've taken of Jacob over the past couple of weeks.

Jacob with his birthday balloon that lasted several weeks. He loved this balloon and was playing with it even when it was almost completely deflated. We've had several snowfalls this year. Unfortunately Jacob and I were sick during the "big snow" weekend but we were able to get out last week and enjoy the light snow. Jacob enjoyed the snow until he realized his legs were wet after sitting in it for awhile (probably because Mommy just put his coat over his jammies....).

A few days later it was nice and sunny so we were able to play outside with a little less clothing. Jacob loves being outside and is super interested in the mulch and leaves and tries to eat them whenever I'm not looking. The other night Jacob wandered off while I was cleaning up after his bath. I walked into Jimmy and I's room to find that Jacob had emptied my pajama drawer. I guess he figured if he was going to bed Mommy should too! His wide-eyed expression in the picture cracked me up.Jacob loves his big tiger. He loves to flop down on it and roll around smiling and laughing. It is so cute! Jacob is currently a fantastic eater. He likes everything with the exception of pineapple, peach muslei (jarred baby food), and unseasoned chicken. His favorite food is yogurt and cries when it is all gone. I've tried to start buffering the meltdown by offering him some fruit alongside his yogurt and this seems to be working. Here's our cutie enjoying some strawberries.
While Jacob will eat almost anything and loves yogurt and cheese, getting him to drink cow's milk was a little challenging. He would prefer water anyday. He's gotten much better about drinking his milk though and he is now drinking from a straw. Jacob smiling for the camera and showing off with his eight teeth and yogurt covered face!

Fun with Friends

We went over to Claire and Trent's Saturday night for dinner and had a wonderful time. Do you think Jacob enjoyed the lasagna?!

Needless to say a bath was in order after dinner. Claire and I took the boys upstairs to get ready for bath and stripped them down. We let them run around naked for a few minutes which was super cute until Jacob decided to pee on their carpet! Lovely!
Here are Tyler and Jacob playing in the tub.
Sunday we went to our neighbor's house for the Super Bowl. I loved this shot of Hudson sharing the remote with Jacob. Jacob was pretty psyched as we are normally taking the remote from him, not offering it to him.
