Guess What?!

Jimmy and I are excited to announce that we are expecting a new baby in November! I'm currently 14 weeks and my pregnancy is going great. The picture above shows Jacob's basic reaction to the news as he, of course, has no idea what to think about being a big brother. We have reassured him it is going to be fabulous. :)
We are hopeful that Jacob will be as sweet to his new baby sibling as he is to his friend, Evie. Evie had been on vacation so they hadn't seen each other in over a week. Jacob was very excited to see her and started smiling, pointing, and walking to her. Once he got close he tried to hug her and kiss her hand! So cute!

Once we convinced Jacob that being a big brother was something he should get excited about he celebrated with his really loud First National Bank Elberton "Coin in a Can". (FYI to my Georgia family - this was actually mine when I was a baby given to me by Nanny and Pop.)

Kindermusik Program, Dinner with Friends, and Mother's Day

We had Jacob's spring Kindermusik program on Saturday, May 1st. Jimmy and my mom came to watch us in action. Jacob was very tired and I don't think we got a single shot of him smiling! Oh well, he still looked cute. :)

Daddy got a turn performing with Jacob.

Jacob was tuckered out and finally just crawled in my lap and laid his head down.

Random Story: After Jacob eats dinner I get a wet paper towel to wipe up spills and then sweep. Last Thursday as I was getting the paper towel Jacob ran off to the laundry room and brought me the broom. I luckily had my camera right there to capture this moment!

Jennifer, Carl and Evie came over for dinner Saturday night. Evie and Jacob are so cute together and we all had a wonderful time! Here are the kiddos playing with tiger.

Dad took Mom and me to a wonderful Mother's Day brunch at Legend's. Jimmy, Jacob and David, of course, joined us as well. Here are a few pictures.
