Christmas Eve!

Our family woke up on Christmas Eve full of excitement for all the fun we had planned! We told Jacob and Anna they could exchange their gifts with each other and Mommy and Daddy could open one gift as well.  Oh the excitement!
Jacob gave Anna a "Hello Kitty" airplane and Anna gave Jacob a helicopter.
Jacob was very excited about giving Daddy knee pads so his knees won't hurt when they are playing football in the playroom - ha! :)
After a relaxing morning we got dressed up for Christmas Eve service at 2pm.  Anna went to "Big Church" for the first time since she was a baby.  She loved it (with the exception of dropping her communion wafer)! She now goes to "Big Church" with us every week and is such a big girl!

After church we all headed back to Nana and Gramps house for dinner and presents!

Jacob was excited to receive a UT helmet from Uncle David.  Daddy is a great sport.  :)

Nana and Gramps had given Anna a Disney Princess castle for her birthday which she loves. It has five princesses and she told Nana she needed some boys - ha! Anna was happy to receive a boy, Aladdin!
This picture makes me laugh!  Jacob wasn't so pumped about the Spider-man headphones at first.  :)

After a very fun-filled afternoon and evening, it was time to get ready for Santa's arrival!  We made chocolate, peanut butter cookies for Santa and put graham crackers and carrots out for the reindeer.

Last stop was our yard where the kids sprinkled reindeer food!

What a wonderful day!

Getting Ready for Christmas!

Here are the kids and Jimmy with our Christmas tree.  We made sure to go a tad smaller this year and had no issues getting it in the house and it didn't fall over.  Victory!
We were excited to display the nativity set I grew up with in our home.  Jacob rearranged the pieces so baby Jesus was "protected".  :)
The kids were super excited to visit Santa! Jacob asked for a Titans football helmet and a book showing the Titans playing football. Anna asked for a pink bicycle.

Of course we had to get a picture of the whole family with Santa!
The kids had an adorable preschool Christmas program.  They were both very excited to wear their pajamas to school and perform for everyone.  Jacob especially enjoyed teaching me "Happy Birthday, Jesus" and had me sing it repeatedly until I had every, single, word correct. He also really enjoyed learning "O Come All Ye Faithful" because it was such a "tricky" song. Anna's favorite song was "Jingle Bells" and she continues to sing it often.

Ready to sing "Happy Birthday, Jesus"
The 4 year olds left the stage for the 5 year old performance but then came back wearing blinking red noses. So cute!!
Next up was our sweet Anna with her adorable Rudolph headband!

After the performance they received Christmas lollipops (and lots of hugs and kisses)!

After the program Jacob took a Publix sticker and made his own "eye black". Resourceful, yes?
The kids and I also had lots of fun at their preschool Christmas parties!
Here is Jacob with is sweet teachers!

We had such a fun Christmas season!
