Trucks and Trains

We discovered we had a water leak at our new house.....in the main water line....under our driveway.  Lovely.  So, a backhoe loader showed up at our house to dig up our yard and push a new line under the driveway.  Fun times.  The silver lining was Jacob got to see a backhoe loader up close!  (It is worth noting that I had no idea this truck was called a backhoe loader until having my sweet boy.)  Jacob was so excited to climb on the big truck!

 Thomas the Train came to Nashville in September.  We had a great time riding "Thomas" and enjoying all the other activities.  We started out riding the mini train.

 Next up was mini golf....we definitely need to work with Anna on the rules.  :)

The kids were really excited to ride a real train!

 

 Mommy and Daddy were going to wait in the incredibly long line to get an unobstructed picture of our precious children with Thomas.  However, when our precious children decided they'd rather get a quick picture and then head out for a yummy lunch we were happy to meet their request!

 Before leaving Jacob asked to go down this HUGE slide.  We were shocked he wanted to do this and it was so cute to see how excited he was after he "conquered" the slide.  Such fun family time!
