Anna's 2nd Birthday - Family Party

Our sweet Anna turned two on October 31st!  Anna is an absolute joy and we are so blessed to call her our daughter.  She is such a snuggly sweetheart full of big hugs and kisses and eager to be sweet to others. I treasure our snuggle time reading stories and rocking before bedtime. She loves laying her head on my shoulder and holding me tight as we rock and sing. Such precious moments!  Anna is also so silly and playful!  She is such a happy child and has quite the sense of humor.  She loves to playfully tease, make funny faces and just be a silly girl!

Anna continues to love her "Baby" and enjoys taking care of her and her other babies.  She loves to "change" diapers, push them around in strollers, feed them, and put them to bed (with blankets completely covering them).  She is such a sweet Mommy!  Anna also loves building with blocks, "hiding", playing chase, playing in forts, and doing just about anything that Jacob likes to do.

Anna continues to love reading books and her current favorites are anything with Abby Caddaby, "Moo, Baa, La, La, La", "Pajama Time", and "I Love You All the Time".

Anna decided to be "Abby Caddaby" for Halloween so I decided her birthday party theme would be the same.  We had her family party on the Sunday prior to her birthday since we figured Halloween would be enough excitement for one evening.  She was excited to put on her costume for her family birthday party and pose for the camera!

Here is the Abby Caddaby cake my mom and I made for her.  She loved it!
After a few minutes of wearing her Abby Caddaby costume she decided she didn't want to wear it anymore (typical for a two-year old, yes?).  She decided to wear her pink birthday dress instead.  Daddy bought her balloons and she had so much fun playing with them!

Present time!

Jacob was excited to receive this "claw" from Anna as his "favor" for coming to her party.  :)

Uncle David gave Anna a doll armoire which Jacob was very excited to put together.
After presents it was time for cake and ice cream!

Why use a spoon when the ice cream scoop is right there? :)
Happy 2nd Birthday, Anna!  We love you and are so excited about experiencing all the sweet moments and fun times ahead!
