We visited Gentry's Farm last Saturday, October 1st. It was a gorgeous day and we had so much fun looking at animals, going down slides, riding tractors, going through mazes, picking out pumpkins, walking and running around, and just enjoying being together!!
Checking out the turkeys which were quite animated
We went on a tractor ride around the farm. Both kids really enjoyed the ride and especially loved seeing and hearing the cows.
Jacob also enjoyed riding these tractors and fueling them all up.
Jacob was so excited about picking out a pumpkin. He kept picking up the pumpkins they had sitting around for decoration and trying to take them home. At the end of our visit Jacob picked out one really big pumpkin and five little pumpkins. Later we realized he wanted five little pumpkins because of his book "Five Little Pumpkins".
What a gorgeous day!!
Our trip to Gentry's Farm was definitely the perfect way to kick off the wonderful month of October. We decided to make it an annual tradition to go opening weekend and hope we'll have as much fun in future years as we did this year!
What the what?! I love Anna's outfit! The striped tights are awesome. I need to get the girls some Halloween garb, STAT. Oh, and maybe costumes too. :) All that to say - looks like a fun day at the farm!
