Anna's Baptism

Our sweet Anna was baptised on Sunday, July 24th. We were so blessed to share the day with Jimmy's dad, my parents, my brother, my Nanny, my Uncle Bob, and my Aunt Pat. Anna wore the christening gown that Farmor (Anna's great-great grandmother) made for Papa (Anna's great grandfather) over 93 years ago. My dad and I were also baptised in this gown making Anna the fourth generation to wear this family heirloom! July 24th is also a significant day for our family as it is my late grandmother, Mum's, birthday. It was certainly a special day!

Our church performs baptisms during regular worship service towards the end. It is a little nerve wracking sitting at the front of the church with an infant but Anna did fabulous during the service and was as happy as can be until she was handed to the minister, of course! Although she whimpered and stuck out her bottom lip, Anna really did well and was even quite happy once the minister started walking her around the church. Here are a few pictures from Anna's big day!
